Alan has a personal tour of British Motor Heritage in Witney, Oxfordshire

Team Reullier visited British Motor Heritage, the company who kindly donates the original automotive drawings which are the platform for the new ‘PLANS’ series.

Alan’s engineering background still influences his work and has recently been re-imagining original engineering drawings kindly donated by Managing Director Graham Payne and his team at British Motor Heritage.

As Alan has a passion for cars and engineering, he was thrilled at the opportunity to work on these original drawings and jumped at the chance to look around the British Motor Heritage production facility with UK Representative Edwina Lightfoot where he presented some his work in progress.

British Motor Heritage holds an estimated 1,000,000 original engineering drawings, unfortunately these were taken out of recorded archives from the British Motor Museum at Gaydon when Rover Group was sold.

They were going to be destroyed but British Motor Heritage stepped in and took delivery of 4 x 40 foot containers full of drawings and drawing cabinets. They are now being digitally recorded and archived.

The original drawings now form the platform for Alan’s new series ‘PLANS’

The ‘PLANS’ series have been very well received in the automotive world, some of which can be viewed in the Gallery. We will have some exciting news coming up for 2024. Follow Alan on his social media platforms for updates coming soon.
